One of the problems frequently encountered in Mercedes passenger cars or light commercial vehicles is the end of life of the mechanical engine in the ELV/ESL (Steering lock) or even if the key is intact, due to the failure of the ELV, the system does not complete itself and does not allow to turn the key. That’s why the tool won’t start. Ordering, installing and programming a replacement ELV steering lock failure can be a lengthy and costly process.
Thanks to the Mercedes Universal ELV/ESL Steering Lock Emulator, this problem can be easily solved quickly and practically. Mercedes Universal ELV/ESL emulator simulates malfunctions as if there is a steering lock and allows the car to start.

There are 3 cables on the Mercedes Universal ELV/ESL emulator, so it is compatible with both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The Mercedes Universal ELV/ESL emulator gives the mechanical sound when the key is inserted or removed, as if it were a mechanical sound.
The emulator can be reused to other tools.

HOW TO CONNECT
The original ELV/ESL (Steering lock) socket is removed.
The socket is connected to the removed socket according to the appropriate diagram on the back of the Mercedes Universal ELV/ESL emulator.
NOTE: If the ELV (steering lock) of the Mercedes vehicle fails while it is locked, the original ELV must be removed from its place, since the steering wheel of the vehicle will not turn. It does not turn on the steering lock that fails in the locked state.
