Autel 12+8 Pin OBD2 Cable is used for 2018 and later Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Fiat vehicles. Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Fiat vehicles also have the Security Gateway Module (SGM) in the image. SGM security module is a module developed to increase security against key programming, pin code reading or file reading operations. Autel has also developed a 12+8 Pin Obd2 cable to bypass the SGM module.
The location of the SGM module varies according to the vehicles. It can usually be found on the driver’s side above the pedals, near the glove box or behind the radio. Below are some supported models and locations of the sgm module.
