Mercedes W204 – W207 – W212 body vehicles between 2007-2014 have ELV/ESL (steering lock) system. This system is one of the key points in the operation of the vehicle and is a frequently encountered problem. How to Connect

The original ELV/ESL (Steering lock) cable is disconnected and the EZS (ignition) is disconnected from the car.

On the desktop (For example; Multi Tool, EZS TOOLS , G-BOX etc.)must be programmed with the relevant Mercedes program device using equipment.

When the programming is finished, it is mounted on the vehicle.

Some devices that can program ELV/ESL (For example; AUTEL IM608/IM508, XHORSEVVDI MB BGA, MBE MB PROG etc. )

Emulator Warning Lights

– Xhorse Mercedes W204-207-212 Steering Lock EmulatorSimulates mechanical sound thanks to the loudspeaker on it.

-W204 ELV emulator must be connected before programming.Then, when the key is inserted into the EZS, if the sound is heard three times, it means that the programming has not been done.

– After programming the W204 ELV emulator, enter EZSThe sound is heard once when the key is inserted and once when it is removed.

NOTE: If the ELV (steering wheel lock) fails while it is locked, the original ELV must be removed from its place as the vehicle’s steering will not turn. It does not turn on the steering lock that fails in the locked state.
